in September 2022 at Timmendorfer Strand

The “smart beach tour“ through Germany is the only official national ranking tournament series by the German Volleyball Association DVV. Each year, from May to September, Germany’s best beach volleyball players compete for points and prize money.

As in previous years, the finals take place in Timmendorfer Strand, at the Seebrücke, from 01. September to 04. September 2022. In the finals, the top teams from 16 women’s teams and from 16 men’s teams compete for victory in the “Ahmann-Hager-Arena”. Apart from many thrilling games there is a lot of opportunity for celebration. Except for the final party, entrance for the official parties is free. The volleyball beach tour one year ago attracted approximately 50,000 spectators who watched the event live at Timmendorfer Strand.

If you do not want to leave the digging and setting at the Baltic Sea to the professional players, but want to play beach volleyball yourself, Timmendorfer Strand offers plenty of options. For example, the beach volleyball ground next to Maritim Seebrücke is just a short walk away from the Park-Hotel.

Die einzige offizielle nationale Ranglisten-Turnierserie des DVV, ist die "smart beach tour" durch Deutschland.
Von Ende Mai bis Ende August kämpfen Deutschlands beste Beach-Volleyballer um Punkte und Preisgelder.
Das große Finale steigt vom 26.08. - 28.08.2011 wie gewohnt in Timmendorfer Strand an der Ostsee.
Die Eröffnung findet bereits am 25.08.2011 statt. Dort werden alle teilnehmenden Teams vorgestellt. Der Einlass zu den offiziellen Partys danach ist frei. Für die Abschlussparty muss man aber Eintritt zahlen.
Wer nun nicht nur den Profis beim Baggern und Pritschen an der Ostsee zusehen möchte, sondern auch selbst einmal Beach-Volleyball spielen möchte, hat hier in Timmendorfer Strand natürlich auch die Gelegenheit dazu.
